Humming House - Headliner

At once danceable and reflective, familiar and nostalgic, Humming House is a musical experiment gone right. Woven together from diverse backgrounds (Americana, classical composition, bluegrass, soul, and traditional Irish music), their playground of musical exploration has something for every generation. Unmistakable pop sensibilities mixed with a depth of lyrical narrative give their whimsical songs an irresistible quality that can only be described by the imagery of the name – Humming House.

As complete as they are in the studio and on record, Humming House is fundamentally and emphatically a live band. They’ve rocked rooms of all sizes and played Forecastle Festival, Bristol’s Rhythm & Roots Festival, and the Cayamo Cruise with the elite of Americana. They opened the new Music City Roots hall in The Factory in 2014, sharing the bill with Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell.

“Party-worthy roots music.” Mic.com

“…infectious and grin-inducing.” American Songwriter Magazine

“…they have a sense of fearlessness that allows them make the kinds of musical choices that lift their music far above the average.” Roughstock

“…a solid Americana band with Irish folk influences and a tight live show.” Consequence Of Sound

“A new Nashville band with a throwback sound.” All Things Considered – NPR: Blake Farmer

Two Foot Level

Two Foot Level hails from our very own tree canopied Tallahassee, Fl. The bands' instrumentation is clawhammer banjo, acoustic and electric mandolin, acoustic guitar, upright bass, drums and vocals. Though these instruments could be found in most bluegrass bands, with the exception of the drums, and while Bluegrass stylings are part of the bands sound, there's much more to it.

Their songs have a range from Americana, Bluegrass, Folk, Indie, Reggae and Rock. The music just can't be described in an existing genre because it draws on the musical backgrounds of each member of the band and is so many things. They like to think of our music as universally appealing, stirring up good times and positive vibes.
