Eleven-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, Jamey Johnson, will be performing at the Capital City Amphitheater on Friday, April 8, 2022, headlining and kicking off the 6th annual Word of South Festival weekend. Johnson is a platinum-selling artist and is one of the few people in the history of country music to win two Song of the Year Awards from both the CMA and ACMs.

Gates open at 6pm.  At 7pm, Andy Whatley & Co. will take the stage.

Free parking is available in four government-owned garages and lots within a few blocks of the park.


Four types of seating are available: Reserved, General Admission, Sponsor and handicap accessible seating.
